Cristina Guerra is the Delegate Manager of the firm and conducts its the day-to-day business. She is graduated in law by the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul and took her LLM at John Marshall Law School in Chicago. She focuses her practice on trademarks prosecution and advises local clients and abroad on intangible assets protection representing them in successful cases. She advises several Brazilian and International companies on IP planning and strategy in Brazil and abroad. She is recognized for her work in the area of non-traditional marks as well as for her expertise on Geographical Indications cross borders. To help even more the clients she did a post graduation in Business Management and a course in Fashion Law. She manages trademark portfolios of large multinationals across the whole Latin America region and in Central America for international clients and for locals worldwide.

She assists clients in retrieving their rights around the world. Cristina is also a Liaison at American Bar Association (ABA), Chair of INTA’s Pro Bono Committee and also serves on committees at ECTA, AIPF and ASIPI.

INTA member since 1997 and has been active at INTA’s committees at least for the last 20 years. She was a member of the law firm committee when the Pro Bono project started and since that day several hours were spent in this wonderful project that become a full committee. Today she serves as Chair of the Pro Bono Committee.

Cristina, a Brazilian Industrial Property Agent, duly registered with the Brazilian Patent and Trademark Office, has been individually ranked and nominated by many international IP publications including, but not limited to, WTR 1000, IP Stars and others.
