Cristina Guerra runs the day-to-day administration of the firm. She focuses her practice on trademarks prosecution and advises local clients and abroad on intangible assets protection. She has represented many clients in successful cases.
She advises companies on IP planning and strategy in Brazil and abroad and her advice results in high value consequences for her clients. She is recognized for her work in the area of non-traditional marks as well as for her expertise on Geographical Indications across Brazil. To help even more the clients she did a course in Fashion Law. She manages trademark portfolios of large multinationals across the whole Latin America region and also in Central America.
She has expertise in trademarks protection that also involving other laws as bankruptcy law and tax law. She assists clients in retrieving their rights around the world. Cristina is also a Liaison at American Bar Association (ABA).
Cristina was recently approved by INTA’s Board of Directors as Chair for 2024-2025 Pro Bono Committee.
She also serves on committees at ECTA, AIPF and ASIPI.
Cristina has been individually ranked and mentioned by many international IP publications including, WTR 1000, IP Stars and others.
